1. Advanced Seminar on Integrating Ego State Therapy with EMDR

30 Social Work, LMFT and LMHC CEUs - as well as 12 EMDRIA CEs (the most you can use in a two-year period) - have been approved.
This Seminar will offer Level II trained clinicians who regularly use EMDR the opportunity to learn and integrate Ego State Therapy with EMDR so that they can be more successful in working with Complex PTSD and Dissociative Disorders. Members will practice and learn to use two core approaches to Ego State work, as well as powerful safety procedures. Didactic presentations and Case Consultation are a part of each month's three-hour meeting.
COST: $100/month; $80 for full-time Community Mental Health clinicians. Some scholarship help may be available.

2. Consultation Group
NEW Consultation Group on EMDR Treatment of Ego States and Dissociation
I am delighted to be offering a new Group for those EMDR clinicians who have taken the Consultation Group offered by George Abbott and Denise Gelinas or who have had other training in the EMDR treatment of Dissociation and/or Ego States. There are just a few spaces left due to the strong interest by graduates of my Advanced Seminar on the Integration of Ego State Therapy with EMDR.
This Consultation Group will provide you with the opportunity for extensive case consultation. There will be an opportunity in some months to practice The Conference Room or The Healing Circle in pairs. These are two primary methods for working with dissociation and/or ego states. Colin Ross’s Trauma Model Therapy: A Treatment Model for Trauma, Dissociation and Complex Comorbidity will provide you with a powerful additional trauma model, transcripts illustrating nearly a dozen specific techniques, and the text of five assessment tools for dissociation.
The group will meet on the second Friday of the month (except. Nov.), starting on Sept. 9 and running through June 8. We will meet from 9am to 12 Noon in my home at 1164 South East St., Amherst, MA 01002. The cost is $60 per month, $50 for clinicians working 30 or more hours in community mental health.
